Coming up: STEAM Expo 2016 @AppState
This is a very big event annual event which brings between 2500 and 3000 middle and high school students from Western NC to campus during the NC Science Festival. This year it will take place on Friday April 22nd, from 9:00am-1:00pm. Faculty and clubs set up interactive science booths in the convocation center and students rotate through them freely with their teachers. Classes also sign up for "break out" sessions and facilities tours. Help is always needed for this event, whether it's at a booth with the activities, directing groups, answering questions, etc. If you're interested in helping out for an hour, two hours, or the whole event, please contact Marta (toranml@appstate.edu). Great way to add a line to your CV!
